wc,
i imagine many folks care very much about stim and not much about how insurance gets paid for. Dems making a big mistake either way--if economy comes back they have no issue and if it gets worse the reps have ammunition. The question becomes how many folks will be fooled in the latter case by Daschle lies in the Fall about how bush killed stim. If the war(s) continue to go well, bush will inside track as the one to be trusted. He went to congress to get this passed and even if that too was a political stunt, it will have consequences for those who ignored the president in a time of eco crisis. Witness Argentina to get a feel for how serious this is. And it has little to do w health ins premiums and much to do with growth. mike
