Cash in U.S. T-bills -

>>Is there still a concern that foreigners could decide to cash in their Treasury Securities? Or is that just far fetched, pessimistic thinking?<<

Some may be cashed in, but right now, almost everyone would ratehr hold a T-Bill paying 4% than pay a a JAPAN Yen debt which is declining in value and likle has an interest rate of under 2%.

Once the Yen goes down an stabailizes, then we might see some selling and re-patriation to pay off debt.

The thinking is actually realistic - they are likely to be cashed insome time, or paid off as they mature. For the short term, unlikely, until the Euro looks better.
