She presented herself to Lewinsky as a friend. If she really viewed herself as a conduit of information while presenting herself as a friend, then she truly does deserve all of the enmity that this kind of deception would warrant. Tripp's behavior was deplorable, because it got the desired results does not justify it. IMO of course

John Dean took some shots for "betraying" his president years ago, and now he's a respected talking head. Perhaps Tripp will find a more forgiving public as time goes by Isn't it amazing how whistle blowers are eulogized when they tell on the Pentagon or 'big business', but when Linda Tripp did her patriotic duty and let the world know what clinton was doing in the Oval Office she was vilified by our wonderful left wing press and the womens organizations. If she had not revealed clinton's disgusting actions there is no telling how far he would have gone with Monica or others. Disgusting person.
