Found an extraordinary read on silver that makes one appreciate the value of silver stand alones (rare) like BAY or even silver-gold co-products like MFL and hopefully GNG. I also suspect that silver will show up on the Salamandra district of NGT/AAS.

The writer (Barron) has given a timely review of all the silver being shut down as a co-product of big lead-zinc and copper-silver mines. An interesting scenario is the gold-silver solo rally that runs ahead of the base metals. That would leave those other co-product producers shut in, while the stand alones and gold-silver co-prod like BAY, MFL, GNG own the production market. There are really only a few places that have heap leachable silver-gold deposits, no?: Northern Mexico being primary.
