Way to go, Bob! You making any predictions for 2002?

Speaking of 9/11, anybody here remember the old "Yes Minister" series out of the BBC? The civil service had a unique way of burying embarrassing stuff as "lost in the fire of 1965".

Watching the talking heads on CNBC, it appears there is a move afoot by the collective industry to blame all the market excesses and economic malaises on 9/11.

Bob, You did a GPM's Breadth Encompassing Forbidding'ness.

Message #80102 from Bob Johnson at Dec 20, 2001
... my first post since October 18th.
... My gold prediction contest is...
####://pages.prodigy.net/########/predict.htm
... the 17 stocks I picked in December 2000 are up 43%,
with 4 stocks (**, ***, **** and ***.**) more than double.
Not too shabby...

I'm surprised that the ascendent of o49r/gold_tutor's wrath
has not come crashing down upon you for what you just did,
mentioned above, and its not that you broke a posting rule
set forth in this thread's mission, but that you have now joined
with Russ, Claude and those others at the following Si thread

New Thread: Precious and Base Metal Investing
Subject 51846
... precious and base metal investing.
... emphasis to be on micro issues, with company analysis encouraged.
... thread had it's genesis at Gold and Silver Mining Stocks

and engage in what o49r/gold_tutor has strongly suggested
these these folks have done, being the Duck Test brings forth
a look & smell of activity to pump & dump with un-caring towards all,
especially new-bies who read these stock picks.

Now i and most all except her Folly Followers don't give either
a hill or valley of beans what she says, so i suggest you place
your individual stocks picks onto the Russ Winter's thread
of which has been obtaining more daily posts than here on GPM.

Bob your posting and comments regarding the how and why
you will and will not post here on Si reminds me of the following.

A person buys a new car and picks dealer A over B because
dealer A has attached to the sale an agreement that for as long
as this person owns the car they will get their yearly state inspection
for free. Find and nice, but 3 years later upon getting that inspection
this original owner was noticed upon picking up the car that
they had to pay for the inspection. This man spoke softly
and told the clerk that its for free as long as he owns the car
and even produced the plactic laminated "free" card he was
given upon taling delivery of the new car. Yes the clerk said,
but then ask the man to turn it over and read that very small
text at the bottom which said "This offer can be voided by dealer."

So Bob, might the
"Free as long as you own the car."
be more truthful if the following was "sold" instead?
"Free as long as the dealer allows it."
Seems the
"... as long as you own the car."
and the null & void clause
just do not play together in a truthful way,
its just someone not doing what they say they will.

Like you stating that you will not post on SI
because of such & such,
but you return.

Golly Bob, why deny yourself the feedom to do what you want to do.
Just accept life in all its good bad and uglyness and adjust to it all
and stop trying to "leave" as if you are then detached and live in
another existance, but later return to a world unchanged with the
almost guarantee that once again what you left will find you,
but no, it was always here, you left and hid and returned into
that which did not find you, but you dropped yourself into it,
and for sure you will now say that i saw you and approached you
as if you returned to a place after the time elaspe which changed
to the state you only wish to exist in. Nope Bob, either accept
this all here, including me, and move on live continue and stop your
Cheese & Whinning and join Si with the Ignore DougAK feature
set to eXtra On.
or
You state you will not join with the above new thread since it
is a moderated one. Golly Bob you "moderate" yourself in not
allowing yourself to join in what you then do onto yourself.

Join Bob, and interact with your truth & justice onto that thread
and let not other's views of right & wrong push you around.

Oh, one more thing, Bob. About GG.

I have GG. Had a little and bought a whole lot more when Greenie pushed interest rates below the inflation rate. Nice solid investment, and it pays a dividend. I figure if gold ever really starts to run I'll slowly migrate to the Juniors.

So, you got a price target for GG based on say 300$ gold? I have a rough guess of 18$ US. TIA.
