Looks like the Sierra Madre belt is about 2/1 gold if you use a 60/1 ratio. In the last 400 years 40 million oz gold and one billion oz (17 million Au eq) silver produced there:

Another great point in one of the Barron pieces: Producers in order to replace reserves need 15, five million ounce gold deposits a year. How many of those can you think of in the last three years? I can barely count 'em on one hand. Another good Barron's read:
