If it does not to you, may I ask, do you regard dead Afghan civilians killed by US bombs as exactly equivalent to dead US civilians killed by Al Quaeda airplane highjackers? No, in these horrible equations of death and suffering, no they still do not. On one hand the deaths are deliberate act of terror or aggression, on the other, an act to set human affairs to a better way. (looking at this matter in it's best western patriotic light) You win that point. I do remain doubtful that the Israeli's are using all their smarts into a peaceful resolution of the conflict. There is no doubt most of them would like an end to this war. It's my belief that the majority of the Palestinian population would also like the conflict resolved on an equal honorable basis. I may be wrong..I have an open mind on this matter.
