Hi mindmeld

I am beginning to think Juniper bit off more than it could chew.

I don't mean to knock Juniper investors but Cisco is now going to eat their lunch.

This really plays into Cisco's hands.

Who would have guessed two years ago Cisco taking home the bacon. (I mean all of it!!!)

Eric

OT

There was a good letter to the editor in todays Financial Times.

The author talked about how a lot of papers and people claim doom and gloom and then forget about what they said.

The author commented how they have doomed and gloomed for years....when the gulf war happened.....when we had the 97 asian crisis.....and now the recession.....

He went on and on about past "dark" periods but that didn't change their gloom and doom.

How many times do we have to cry wolf!!!

Mindmeld, the earnings warning season may not be so bad. In fact, the really bad news (Lucent, Juniper, Ciena) may be behind us. I think the shorts will get burned today.
