Look at the complete decimation of the US tuna industry in the last decade. Not certain what the agreement was titled but it was probably similar to your common fisheries policy... The US signed the agreement and actually ENFORCED the environmental and safety regs... whereas our trade "partners" like Korea, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Taiwan, and Japan have chosen to only selectively enforce those regs...

Kyoto was the same sort of scam on a grander scale. Why sign an agreement when the other signees have proven they will not enforce it?
