--Written by two Jewish heroes of South Africa's liberation struggle against the white government's apartheid system, and signed by 220 Jews, the document asserts that Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories is the cause of the escalating violence in the Middle East and denounces Israel's campaign of violence. -- 'commie jews?' all (perhaps tasteless) joking aside, i will never forget a picture of a rabbi at the conference earlier this year in south africa (can't spell johannasburg; who was this johanna 'chick' anyway?); anyway, i digress; the picture of the rabbi with the sign which said, 'judaism is not zionism.' this particular rabbi had the locks so the picture looked quite authentic. he had the most childlike look on his face. his cheeks were ruddy and his complexion pale. but he looked so childlike too; almost as if the face of G-d were staring right at me... well you can take that for whatever it's worth what about that rumor which was going around?... the one which said that many rabbis in israel were being visited in dreams by the messiah; yeshua... he was telling them they'd 'missed the mark; he was and is indeed, the real deal.' these rabbis were all apparently wondering what to do after having these dreams... is that a true rumor? i'll tell you what... i was going to a messianic temple for awhile. they had the greatest music... almost all in harmonic minor... real bouncy... i love playing that sort of stuff on my guitar and singin' it. i have a joke that some people hate jews because the jews have the best music and the most beautiful women; and their men might be above-average in endownment... who knows?! i fell deeply in love with a jewish woman once; she told me so one night; it was deep affection. once she said, 'no one deserves you, and no one will ever have me again.' i recorded entire record albums (cds), some almost entirely about her... probably a dozen or more about her, mostly from the first and 2nd cds; man the stories behind those songs; one guy told me once that my life was like, 'twin peaks.' andy

Notice the Rabbi at the end of the article, who of course toes the Zionist party line, with all the usual rhetoric. Cyril Harris, chief rabbi of the Union of Orthodox Synagogues in South Africa, said comparisons between apartheid and Israel were misguided. "It's quite ridiculous," Rabbi Harris said. "Kasrils doesn't know what he's talking about, and I'm afraid this has not gone down well at all." Rabbi Harris said that Israel, unlike white-ruled South Africa, was merely defending itself from hostile neighbors committed to its destruction. Israel's policy of state-sanctioned assassinations, he said, is directed at known terrorists, while the apartheid government massacred anyone considered a threat to its rule, regardless of whether they were involved in violence. "Israel is a democracy," he said. "It has tried to broker peace, and it has been rejected by a population that is determined to see Israel destroyed. "Apartheid was an evil all to itself."

That is easy to explain...they are self-hating Jews and anti-semites (sic). They probably were not part of the Israel-South African diamond and gold trade during Apartheid; they are bitter and jealous.
