The Board has decreed that Stampede is allowed to complete the subject 2-34-20-3 W5M well at its earliest opportunity subject to certain conditions. Stampede does not consider that these conditions are onerous. The Decision with these conditions is available for viewing on the website of the EUB at www.eub.gov.ab.ca/bbs/apps.htm. As next week is the start of the Christmas / New Years festive season, there will not be any great headway made until after the New Year with regards to having final completion operations of the 2-34 well re-commence, though certain aspects have now been initiated. Prior to having the planned 450 meter pipeline installed it will be necessary to finalize related third party processing and transportation agreements. Stampede has no reason to downgrade its original production forecast for the 2-34 well. The Company will endeavour to have the 2-34 well on production by the end of January 2002. Stampede has been advised that the production from the Imperial 8-21-21-3 W5M and the Berkley 10-16-21-3 W5M wells, four miles north of the 2-34 well, are apparently demonstrating significantly greater production characteristics than originally envisioned by the operators. WISHING A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Sounds good but if you read the fine print and add that to the Eub information I would say that we are still four months away from production. As I read it there will have to be 2 more approvals; one for a community relations plan and one for of modifications to the Anderson Plant to handle the H2S load. So basically another speed bump in the road to success. Still, we now know that there will be a well(actually many wells!!!) and I for one do not doubt Jack's interpretation of the potential flow rate. They say that you should not wait for your ship to come in, if you have not sent one to sea. Well looks like our ship will be in in 2002!! Merry xmas and a healthy, safe and prosperous New Year to all! Keith
