<<<The CBOE Volatility Index ($VIX) is now at its lowest levels since late August, as it has dropped below 24. If it gets as low as 21 or 22, that would be extreme. When volatility gets "too low," that is a warning sign that "everyone" is too complacent. At a minimum that means that the market is about to become explosive. In addition, most of the time (but not all of the time), that explosiveness occurs on the downside. Just another indicator telling us that this current rally is extremely long in the tooth. >>>
