Joan, Yeah, one of the problems with tractors is that a good one lasts forever. And it's not like the technology is new.

I have seen our race track stay in business due to the sale of former horse feed. <g> The third world needs all sorts of farming technology and soil enhancers.

I know that I would just like to find a piece of ripe, sweet fruit. The grocery stores only seem to carry stuff that won't spoil. It also won't ever ripen. Tastes like imitation fruit. We have farmer's markets and they are pretty good, but kind of a long drive. I was spoiled growing up in The San Joaquin Valley in California. Not only did we have perfectly ripe fruit all the time, but usually we didn't have to pay for it because there was so much left over after selling to Libby's and Del Monte.
