From the same article. ``The majority of the squeeze has happened today, but with silver nothing ever happens very quickly. Today is an exception, but as lending returns to the market in the New Year, much of the pressure will come off and prices will in turn ease,'' another trader said.

But if tightness remains and all the predictions of easeing are false we will see a scramble. I $5 is not unreasonable and may be low.
