I know the official re-balance is on Monday, but I can't see anyone sticking around on Christmas Eve to trade.

Do you follow CCMP? I am looking at it on the short side. They sell the slurry for marking semiconductors. It looks at little pricy at the current levels fundamentally. It looks lke it ready to break technically.

Same deal with EMLX thouhg it looks stronger, I can't figure out what is keeping it up.

Interesting point to note, the COMPX completed a OBV break out yesterday despite the sell off on the daily chart and the sell signal.

Interesting numbers from the JNPR pre-warning CC. The telecom industry generates 3/4 trillion dollars (not a typo) in revenue each year. The cap ex spending last year was 250 billion dollars. Add the 28 percent decline they expect next year and you see the amount of money that has essentially been taken out of the economy.

Suresh,

Watch yourself on your shorts. Articles like this may push the semi equipment companies quite a bit higher short term.
