That is why the public expresses such confidence in the Administration, The public has no choice. The administration keeps playing "I've got a secret" to ensure that their explanation of the situation is the only one heard. In the meantime Ashcroft sneaks around like a 5 year old and shouts BOO! every so often. You're right that people are scared, they are scared that as soon as the first question is raised about Bush he will rapidly lose his bluster and then what remains?
