I met Pete once. You may have seen my story about being a marshall (protecting the podium) at the Inaugural protests at the Washington Monument in '73. He was invited to sing and speak. He was a very pleasant fellow.

Yeah, and I toured with the Stones.

Did you know Mick and I played chess every night after the gig? Winner got to play Neo after he finished his lead every night in Verdi's Rigoletto at the Met.

That is quite an honor playing with talented folks like Pete Seeger.... You have a right to be very proud of that. I was never a musician or singer (except for the time the Orphans gave me the old cow bell to play with them in a Santana song at Mother's rock club up by Greenwood Lake back in 1971) After that I had some fun helping out various rock bands, some big, some small.... Merry Christmas.
