To see it is to believe it. I'll wait and see.

Zeev: Re: "...not the massacre you are seeing now."

What massacre? I see none here.

Zeev, I think we may know all we need to know by Monday. If we have a small up on the indices, especially if the NDX closes above 1590 or 1600, I'd have to say the low for the month is in, and we are going up from there.

Nasdaq 2250 would be quite a jump, but it is well within the realm of possibility, as the starting off point for the January rally may be nearly 2000 if we don't drop much Monday. 2250 is just a couple of short covering stops from where we are.

We took 1904-2065 in 2-1/2-days, so 2000 to 2250 is not a huge leap by any stretch.

If we did run to 2250, we may pay for it a bit in February and March, with another visit to 1934 a possibility, although 2057-2065 would seem to more likely.

Zeev, we'll never know for sure, but I suggest that we would not have broken 1934 yesterday but for the brief sound bite on Windows XP that broke the 1934 camel's back and it couldn't quite recover although it did bounce off the low of 1918 area for close.

I know some here are expecting a plunge to and through 1900 by Monday and some have declared the January Effect dead, but as long as the Russell 2000 leads the other indexes, as it did today, this week, last 4 weeks and for the year, I'm still optimistic on a few more good days for small growth stocks. IMHO

Have a good weekend.

Bruce

Hi Zeev,

Based upon the Q's incongruent rise when compared with other Nasdaq stocks, is it improbable they will continue to lead, or is there still some steam in the engine? Also, what other areas do you think will provide the most bang per buck? Is BTK ready for another run??

TIA,

Chuck
