I am amazed that the government and INS continue to allow several hundred thousand students from states acknowledged to support terrorism entry into the country every year. It is simply incredible. You know, the polls that have been taken omit some important questions, making me wonder what the media are afraid of. Why not ask the American public a few simple, direct questions: 1. If ties are proved between Iraqi Intelligence, the Mukhbarat, and WTC and/or the anthrax attacks - attacks employing weapons of mass destruction - would you support the tactical and/or strategic use of nuclear weapons against Saddam Hussein, Iraqi Intelligence and the Republican Guards? 2. If it is proved that high government officials of Saudi Arabia were complicit in the terrorist strikes against the United States would you support $100 billion reparations being levied against that state? 3. Do you believe that the United States should have retaliated against the Islamic "Republic" of Iran for invading sovereign United States territory and holding American diplomats hostage for well over a year in 1979, and that it now should present that government with a number of ultimatums stemming from that atrocity and the murder of 19 American servicemen in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia? 4. Do you believe Libya should be forced to pay reparations to all relatives of the victims of Pan Am flight 103, which was blown out of the sky during the Christmas holidays in 1988? 5. Do you believe that if it is proven that Pakistani Intelligence, the ISI, provided direct assistance to terrorist groups in their quest to obtain nuclear weapons, that Pakistan should be given an ultimatum to turn over all those responsible, and crack down immediately on all radical Islamist elements within its borders? 6. Do you believe that the populations of Libya, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Yemen would continue to resent the United States if it directly overthrew the despots controlling the wealth of all of those nations and replaced them with democratically elected governments with new legal structures and Constitutions set in place that enshrined human rights for all men, women and children and international laws generally accepted by most members of the United Nations? I think the media fear the answers to these questions. Note the New York City firemen and police officers who landed in Kabul today on a charity mission, and their reception by the population. Americans are a generally fair, moral and good people. I think a vast majority would like to see the good citizens of these lands extended the same rights and opportunities as Americans have enjoyed at home for over two centuries.
