Sounds like we have a similar approach as I am in no hurry either. With the Fed pouring liquidity into the system like never before, the next leg down may take a bit of time to get underway in any event.

I couldn't agree with you more about the financials..... one of these days that set of wobbly dominos is definitely going to fall. I sure wish I had more (even some?) expertise in that territory.

I gave back some of this year's delightful profits in the weeks following Sept. 11 as I added to positions on the assumption that an already faltering economy would be further smacked. Fortunately, I did clear out quickly (for a change) when I heard the train whistle blowing. I should have remembered that markets tend to respond well to "war time settings". That said, this next leg down should be a real waterslide event. The "V" that most investors are expecting in 2002 sure isn't apparent on my radar screen.
