Compaq's Capellas launches VLM

Very long memorandom (sic)
By the INQUIRER, 21/12/2001 18:23:50 BST

Before you read Capellas' latest, you should know that the Wall St Journal is reporting that in the latest act of the takeover pantomime, Compaq and HP are asking the European Union to approve it, earlier than expected. They want EU officials, who celebrate Yuletide early and almost through to the Georgian Calendar Yuletide, to make a decision by February, rather than April, as anticipated.

Many firms are working on Christmas Eve next Monday but the lucky ones are having the usual long Yuletide break here in Blighty, and Europa.

Now sit down and get ready to read the VLM which makes no mention, natch, of the 180 turn round memo immortalised by the INQwell... µ
