Forget my previous question, now I know why you were going to the teller, for the big clean bills for Christmas gifts. Can I be adopted into your family? -g-

BTW the biggest reason the hundred is in short supply is that it is the denomination of choice for illegal activities which tend to pick up around the holidays. Also, with the Euro going to currency there has been a high demand for it there, again to cover illegal activities.

I've seen small boys in Mexico with sacks full of hundreds at the Cambrio. I think there are far more hundreds outside the US then inside considering how much drug money leaves the US every year.
