Was I talking to you, Thomas? I might as well talk to the Iraqi Minister of Propaganda as talk to you -- you both have the same level of interest in the truth. Even the messages you linked were full of links to other people pointing out your lies.

Talking of "peddling conspiracy theories", I've been reading that story about that would-be Sri Lankan kamikaze:

reuters.com

And then BANG! The thought struck me out of the blue.... The 911 terrorist attacks were initially planned as regular hijackings! For if the hijackers-turned-kamikazes wanted to crash jetliners into the WTC, Pentagon, etc. it would have been much easier for them to hijack airplanes en route to the US from, say, France or the UK... Why on earth should they attempt to sneak into the US first? Why should they take the risk of planting dozens of sleepers right inside the "belly of the beast"? They could have just as well hijacked a US plane flying from, say, Frankfurt to Chicago, and, after the pilot informed the passengers that they're approaching NY/the US, stormed the cockpit...

So, here's my latest version of the 911 terrorist plot: the hijackers initially planned to hijack international flights departing from US airports (on the Eastern coast). It's likely that they intended to land the jetliner(s) in some European/Arab country... Then, unexpectedly, their "squadron leader" Masood got killed... and the whole scheme had to be scrapped/modified. The hijackers surmised that their initial, "target country" where they had to land the hijacked planes was no longer "safe". Hence their switch to Plan B: domestic flights.
