people, corporations, governments will want the best, latest technology.

Where is the best and latest technology? WindowsXP? Pentium 4? Do you personally know anyone who feels a pressing need to upgrade to WindowsXP or OfficeXP? Do you personally know anyone who wishes to upgrade to a Pentium 4 machine? Computers and software just aren't exciting anymore. They are becoming common place, like television. Is anyone excited about Curtis Mathes' stock? A lot of people are worried about how to pay off their Visa card now that they have lost their job. I don't believe those people will be considering paying for a new OS any time soon. Besides, most people have figured out how to get that kind of stuff for free on WinMX and elsewhere. Heh.
