Though Len has questioned the legitimacy of Israel being plunked down by the UN onto that turf - a point made by many for many years - I don't recall him saying they should be subject to Arab rule. Not on this thread perhaps, and not with such an explicit conclusion. However, he has said numerous times that Israel was illegitimate from day one, remains an illegitimate western colony in Arabia, is populated with European immigrants, and practices apartheid like South Africa. These statements lead to certain inescapable conclusions about how these deplorable conditions should be corrected, though like most anti-Zionists he is coy about actually saying them out loud. Len's posts don't strike me as the work of a Jew-hater but as one who finds some transparencies in some pro-Jewish arguments. In len's case, the word "self-hating" seems the most appropriate description. However, with len there is at least a human being at home -- with some other posters, you feel like you're talking to some Ministry of Proganda (no offense to any present company intended). Unless we're in the frontlines and events demand action instead of words, I hope, in this forum, for a full and fair discussion that yields nuggets we can glean, that yet may lead to the necessary compromises where workable solutions can emerge. Hear, hear.
