According to my screen here at Silicon Investor the number of oversold semiconductors rose from 18 on Wednesday to 37 by the close on Thursday and then fell to 13 stocks on Friday. AMCC, ATML, EMKR, SMTC, SSTI, TQNT and VTSS stand out among them as stocks with enough trading volume to attract buying interest under the right conditions.

Potential contributing factors to a strong rise in technology stocks in January could include the following:

Passage of an economic stimulus package.
The capture or confirmed kill of Osama bin Laden
Additional positive economic indications
Positive news from any of the largest names in technology

Thanks for all your hard work and WONDERFUL tables of data.
I actually email them to myself and keep them in a file for weekly PEG data should I need to go back and look.
