Screening methods that prohibited dangerous individuals from entering our borders had been completely dissipated by liberal pressure. Colleges & universities were not even checking student rosters to identify & report foreign students who obtained eductional visas but never attended class. Anyone could obtain a legal social security card. We were living in a dream world and were abruptly awakened that morning in Sept. We were the only country on the globe with such lax security at its borders. That's not freedom-- it's stupidity. Complete freedom, without wise safeguards, is worth nothing if it enables lunatics to fly you into a building whenever they get the urge.
