you must be kidding,what agenda,lol I am amazed that a liberal could even mention a forced agenda that is all the democrat run schools systems are now,failed agenda pushers who are now being slaughtered by their own students lol......I would have to put a loser teacher in special ed too I suppose you dolt if the students are not learning because some democrat union member has a "right" to a job she/he cannot be fired from what would you do,create the problem then bitch....... that is truly a democrat point of view,like the govenment does not dictate criteria now,oh sure it is ok when it is liberl criteria,lets hope it is just the three rs not you letist liberal agenda on that test,please don`t answer I cannot take to much of your crap thinking

Dear Patricia: Thanks for the correction on the county. As to the tests, seems to me a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. IF you have a child who is a slow learner for one reason or another, I presume it likely is in his/her best interest AS WELL as the groups to segregate them into a Special Ed class. Of course THIS presumes the special ed class is properly conducted with the goal of improving a childs skills and not just a place for care taking. I do think, just like anything else, there are good teachers and there are bad teachers. Perhaps this testing will sort them out. As I understand it bad teachers presently can do just as well financially as good teachers which seems very unfair to me and not good for the classroom. From what I have heard, not actually experienced personally, those countries that appear to excell educationally test up the WAHZOO. jdn
