Wow,, what a discussion that turned out to be.. Up here it is the day after Christmas to me and most. I just seemed to think it was throwing out boxes, and later latched on to by the retailers as one more day to flog junk..

PS; That's now two days that I have found that are different between Canada and the US. I thought that we were identical.
The other one we have is remembrance day. Nov 11. I believe that you guys call it veteran's day.
Up here remembrance day , at least to me , signifies remembering the horror and tragedy of war. I'm not sure that veterans day implies the same meaning.
