< There is a probability of 1 for all that happens. The doubt and lower probabilities are a measure of our ignorance and stupidity>

No, since we are able to change the future by each action in the moment, there is never certainty about what is to happen, this is ignorance, but not stupidity.

<Careers are also 100% allocation, with limited movement posssible once one is aged 40 and well-entrenched. >

Again no, although people tend to center their beliefs around this premise it is absolutely false and proven every day by people aware of their ability to change and move off in altogether another direction in various aspects of their lives.

Hi Maurice, school song from the investment wizard school ... and when I mentioned that investing is like dancing, some times needing to step to the side to re-sync with the ever changing music, I did not mean you to dance the steps of Enron death spiral ...

"He spoke with a rasping voice, in rhyme:

"Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble
I'll turn your portfolios into rubble
Dotcoms will transmute into dotbombs
Techs to wrecks, and high fliers to Enrons.
Get out now, and stay in cash,
Or you'll all be victims of the crash! ...

"Day traders, unplug and prepare for tedium,
"Up and up goes the equity risk premium.
You hope you've discovered financial fertility,
But you will be cursed with volatility.
Don't waste your time on new technology,
I advise you to study demonology!" "
