I haven't checked the news online today so I don't know if the potential suicide bomber was affiliated
with a group.

Anyone who boards a flight without checking luggage, especially a long overseas flight, should
warrant suspicion by authorities.

Perhaps it will be necessary to use bomb sniffing dogs at airport security checks. The military
used dogs to sniff out bombs in Afghanistan.

In the past, when we've arrived home from long overseas flights, dogs showed up at the point where we
were to collect our luggage. I think they might have been used to sniff out agriculture products, but I
am not sure.

You've cleared immigration. You are dead on your feet after a 10 to 16 hour flight and, all of a sudden,
a friendly dog with tail wagging rushes up to greet you. It was such a surprise. I was never
able to pet one but it was a treat to have a dog meet you in the baggage claim area.
At least, the dog woke you up!
