Hi Lorne: I asked in the early going, and perhaps it was on the GPM, what Mrs. Clay might have thought about all of this. I don't know if she is still alive, or if she remained a Christian. Things we won't see coming out of this. Ali saying that being a conscientious objector then is what he thought was the right thing to do, but it would be wrong now. "Ali will hopefully be able to convey the idea that Muslims in America lead a free life, practice their religion in a form in which they choose to practice it," As Ali was raised as a Christian in the US, he's probably a little smarter, despite his disease and the poundings he took to his head, than the average muslim. He should clarify this by saying as long as they observe the laws of the US, rather than in which they choose to practice it, just so they don't misunderstand that he is saying it's okay to have many wives. You'll also never hearing him say that if you're a muslim who believes this terrorism is evil and you know any member, elder or mullah of your home mosque who believes otherwise, it's okay to turn them in. Valenti told the newspaper that the announcement's second point would be that "It's not a war against Islam. It's a war against murderers who kill innocent people." You'll never hear it put, Murdering muslims of many nationalities declared war against all non muslims and then confirmed that declaration with the attack on NYC and we will defend ourselves. They almost make it sound like we started the war. Hey Lorne just doing a little ranting. Did have the weird thought though that I understand that Jesse Jackson has wanted to do something during all this and perhaps he could finally do some good by reconverting Ali. Regards Bob
