Sooo . . .

AMGN sounding like the best possibility at the moment. Also since BLUE HP had the cojones to short NWBT at $5.13, I'm likely to take a position in it here, too. Since we're having some trouble coming up with many candidates, it also sounds like this will be the leanest portfolio I'm ever going to run. That I'm going to have to take positions on the order of 20% of the "assets." Should be interesting to watch. I still think I'll try to average in, particularly if I feel compelled to start now, supposedly a stupid time of year to short biotechs.

Disclaimer: I am most definitely not going to be reflecting each call in real life, though I'll be doing some of that. For one, I just can't allocate that way right now.

Peter, haven't you hedged in the past by shorting indexes? I'm open to that idea, also.

Cheers, Tuck
