No dispute there, but the question is the following: is that a good thing? Frankly, I'd hate to live in an Islamic state. As a Christian, I'd probably be imprisoned since Islam is a very intolerant religion. In addition, my wife would have none of the many freedoms that I'd have. Right now, my wife's career is doing better than mine. Would she have the same opportunities in an Islamic state? Most enlightened countries shudder at the thought of Islam's rapid growth, because once you taste freedom, you want everyone to be as fortunate as you. With the spread of Islam, more and more people are getting repressed by a very medeival and harsh set of beliefs. It's extremely saddening to think that not everyone has the opportunity to have the same degree of freedom and security that I have in the U.S.
