MM: My spies down there report: - real estate softening in the last two months, especially in high end condos, etc. - high end boat sales well off year-over-year. - mall revenues will not match last year's numbers. - high end autos now easy to find (a year ago there were waiting lists for the hotter items). - bar tips down year-over-year this past few months (admittedly a very questionable "leading indicator"). (g) "Wealth Centers" are usually the last to feel the effects of a downturn, so I pay attention to even the subtle items from those parts of the world. (g) Best, Earlie
