This spring I was sitting on the fence as to rather to sell my oil service stocks or not because of the gas build. I was teetering back and forth and with a little nudge from Jim P I fell to the sell side. HE SURE MAKES ME LOOK SMART NOW. Take care everybody and have a good Christmas.

Cosmo, Titan, etc:

Life's no good without some controversy:

Personally I would not vote for my buddy JimP as Poster of the Year, since his finest moment, SMOP, took place in 2000, not in 2001. He was, without a doubt, 2000 Poster of the Year. I would nominate the Dabum as Poster of the Year 2001 for 1) helping all with good humor and infinite patience make their way through candlesticks and other indicators and 2) for singlehandedly carrying out the antiterrorism fight on the old SI SD thread there against the Knucklehead Twins, aka BP & LP, and driving them into the sea.

I've nothing personal against JimP, in fact he's one of my closest comrades de guerre, but it's no shame to Eric Crouch in his Heisman success if some of the other writers voted for Joey Harrington, is it?

Finally, I wish to throw open the floor to all and sundry who wish to vote for His Nibs (SOB) and The Pro (Isodope) as Poster of the Year as well. I'm standing by with a Cray supercomputer to keep track of all the votes which will be flooding in for les idiots savants.

Many thanks to all including CPS, Brother Bum, KB, Gottfried, energyplay, Tomas, excardog and the many other great posters.

2001 will be a push year for me, but lots of lessons were learned which hopefully will lead to better gains in 2002.

Jim
