Profiling is one way that makes their job an order of magnitude harder. We should use it. It will save lives. That is what I was trying to get over to slacker but he seems to have taken offence. You absolutely did not say that profiling was your objective. From your initial post on the subject... Message 16825538 No amount of searching will make aeroplanes safe. The only way to make aeroplanes safe is to refuse to allow members of the cult that believes in killing in the name of God from going on aeroplanes. I think most people who talk about profiling (including MM and Verve) are talking about doing searches of those who fit the profile. You are clearly talking about banning certain groups. Profiling may not be fair and may create hard feelings in groups....but it doesnt create a second class of citizens with an entirely different set of rights. As I said before, your solution wouldnt work anyway. You would find that you would have to ban "the cult" from sporting events, concerts, and any other large congregation of people. The slippery slope would lead to either deportation or prison camps. Have you changed your mind? Slacker
