Why did he post like he was? I always assumed that many if not most Canadians are so inundated with US culture that they think of themselves as quasi-Americans. There are a number of Canadians posting on these boards and they are all but indistinguishable from Americans. I'm always impressed about how much they know of our institutions and politics. I know little of theirs. Anyway, we all use the word "we" in a variety of contexts as we discuss things. (By "we" I meant posters of all stripes.) Karen
