Some people have a tendency to give other people the benefit of any doubt as long as there is a plausible positive or neutral explanation. I don't see how this applies. Either you are a US citizen or you are not. In fact, as I understand it the law is that you automatically lose Canadian citizenship if you accept US citizenship. In any event, I think this is one of those cases where I am applying logic to the thoughts of a person who doesn't reason logically. Probably past time to drop the whole thing...
