Hi, Michael, I searched SEC and couldn't find anything about that. They have a service in which questions can be posed by email, so I'll ask. But it may take a while. The site says it'll be longer than usual for replies because of the holidays. Meanwhile, I tried asking on a short thread and got this: Message 16828452 But I also got this, the next reply on that thread: Message 16828499 For the moment, I'm going to assume I can do it 3 days later (BLUE HP shorted NWBT 5 days after it IPO'd). I can always kill the trades retroactively if I get a definitive answer that says no. At least, Nigel and Stefaan can do it, it would appear. If you've got a link or something, I'd love to see it.
