BS Elmer I can Buy a Sun System Online with 6 CPU's $163,050.00 So what Milo? What does this prove? You can't buy the Dell ITanium system that way. That doesn't make it any less real nor does it make the Hammer any more real. Whether you can buy a Dell 4-way ITanium server online or you have to go through a phone call or rep, there still isn't any Hammer and won't be for at least a year. When it does arrive it won't be performance competitive with McKinley much less Madison and it will face the worst obsticles any new platform has ever faced. It has already been rejected by everybody before it has even seen silicon. All the major customers have seen the specs and committed to Intel instead. It's already a still birth. EP
