Limtex--There appear to be a number of online services that will handle photos. Ofoto is one that I've seen, and the results seem to be pretty good. I don't use any myself, so I can't give you much additional info.

The SanDisk venture with PMI was intended to place digital photo kiosks in heavy traffic areas (malls, airports, supermarkets, etc.) that would allow a non-technical person to insert a flash card and print out photographic quality images. The last thing I heard about this project (c.c. comments about three months ago) was that it had been delayed because of problems making it simple enough to use without any assistance from technicians. They were supposed to have some test sights in operation this year, but I haven't seen any news suggesting that they even got this far (over a year late since the project was first announced).

Earlier this month, I asked SNDK to provide additional info, but have heard nothing so far.
