I would ban all artificial turf

On artificial turf. I saw something for putting greens that worked great. They took a very high grade astroturf. Perhaps that ProTurf stuff you're talking about? Then they raked in very fine high grade sand. Ended up with a fuzzy sand. It made an extremely good realistic green. Very much like what the pro's play on. I know, I played Industry Hills right after their qualifying for the US Open. Greens were tough as they get in the first place...then they scalped them as short as possible. Very much like the artificial green I mentioned. Only problem with that has been that people have an attitude toward astroturf and won't even look closely or even try to putt on one. They'd be very surprised if they did...

You want to know what is girlie girlie?
The kneel down trying to kill time at the end of a game. Sheeet. They should lose possession for that crap.
Yes, if the Bears and Packers can play outdoors, and the fans STILL come, then the indoor teams are grassless wusssssssssssssssssssies. I'm not that old, but old enoough to realize that Football originated as an outdoor game. It's all about the the toughness...the mudstains, the turf stuck in the helmets, the losing teams huddling in front of the heaters, The playing in the rain, sliding through mud slop.
What do you get indoors? "oh, my spikes got caught in a seam"

Annette

Bring them, bring the warm weather, indoor teams to Lambeau in December....
