Nowhere do we have a statement from Intel as to how many wafers a week they are capable of making. The interpretations expressed are little more than wild guesses. I've noticed you've been accused of making "wild guesses" in the past and passing them off as facts. Are you sure you're not getting just a little carried away again? I also have an issue with this statement, "So, there are 1,038,000 sq. ft. from 5 of the FABs. If the other 15 average 75,000 sq. ft., then Intel's total is 2,163,000 sq. ft. to produce 2/3's the flash and 3 times the CPUs of AMD's 470,000" This is clearly misleading. Firstly Intel produces more flash memories than AMD, not the 2/3rds you say. Secondly, you are leaving out the 10s of millions of chip sets Intel manufactures and the millions of strong arm chips and a whole bunch of other products that must also total in the many millions of chips. I've seen this pointed out to you at least a couple of times in the past and still you intentionally leave out this huge volume of chips when doing your calculations. It leads someone like me to believe you are intentionally misrepresenting the facts as you have been so often characterized as doing by so many others. The Whort
