Just one of the many things that are changing and have changed and that many of those into 19th century Austrian economists don't tend to appreciate.

Why I'm very careful about Kondratieff curves.

The curves are not smooth sinusoidal. They are superimposed by some other curves.

We may be in the part of the cycle climbing up, but, within this climbing up we have a minor downturn, so the upping turn down slightly and then returns to its accent. Same happens in the cycle where the curve is going down.

It is very similar to what happens with Milankovic's curves (Father of Climate Modelling and of the Astronomical Theory
of Palaeoclimates) curves. So even if -today- we are in a brief period of warmness we are in fact going down towards the next glaciations that will happen in about 6.000 years in the future.
(One of the reason why I laugh about global warming)
