Did you make a shortcut to go in your startup folder? That should load the password protected screensaver when you boot. Let us know if you need help doing this.

Here's a way to clear your password and the logon box should not appear. You can also do it the lazy way...install Tweakui. It has a setting for this.

You can configure a password in the BIOS. Doing this will prevent access to your PC from anyone. You must enter this password before Win98 loads.

There are different ways to enter the BIOS to do this. Some popular ways are to press <F1>, <F2> or <DEL> on bootup. Refer to your own PC manual for your PC.
