Not if you are a canadian resident for tax purposes.. To book tax losses for this year, today is the last date for Nasdaq stock since the trade must settle within this year..

i agree with sultan. spent some time looking into it after the guilt of stressing you out.

all this time, i have specifically referring to canadian tax laws. today is the day. I did see some american articles indicating it is the trade date though. It threw me off.
