Whew, I thought, what's our president up to now when I saw these headlines:

In the News

· Military buildup grows along India-Pakistan border
· London mosque identifies airplane shoe bomb suspect
· U.S. troops to scour Tora Bora caves for bin Laden clues
· Bush fires rage in Australia

For a long time I have wondered if Cheney is in hiding because of his health. No one wants us to appear weak during this war struggle so Cheney has been out of the limelight and locked behind closed doors.

How does it make sense for security to be higher around Cheney than around Bush?

Pat

" Lynne Cheney, in rare public comments on her husband's health,
said Monday that her husband is happy, he's calm, and he's happiest
when he is in control. "

Lynne Cheney spends so much time defining her notion of civil liberties that I'm not surprised that she
spends so little time talking about her husband's health. I wonder how often she sees him.
