It is, or should be, the goal of US foreign policy to advance US interests to the exclusion of any other country's And when you have the biggest guns and bombs, that's as good a definition of bullying as I could have drafted. Which is where this all started. Even if the embargo was lifted tomorrow does Cuba have some sort of vested right to trade with the US? That ducks my question: why do you claim continuing the embargo is enlightened? I'm not going to let you off that hook that easily. Why do you claim that our continued embargo of Cuba is enlightened?
