Entreating God to help those who do not believe is not belittling. I do not believe and I do not feel belittled. CH who believes asks God to help those who do not to see the way to believe, an honorable purpose in his beleeif system. As a believer CH believes this is possible and asks for assistance. I understand what CH meant and I also understand why references to an "invisible friend" IS belittling. I think you ought to quit while you are behind. JLA

You have divided people into two classes, one of which deserves blessings and one of which is in need of help. It may still be fairly intended, even granting an insensitivity to your feelings. It may be a genuine desire to see you helped here to a heaping plateful of "blessing", rather than helped there to an eternity of torture under bottomless buckets of burning faggots. I really don't know why you should feel belittled or offended at the implication that your ideas are misguided as a result of your limited mental resources, or that you are morally damnable, and in need of intercessional prayer. Some ideas ought to be ridiculed and opposed. Some ideas are dangerous: the idea that having sex with babies cures Aids, or the idea that people of different or no religious belief are "infidels" and subject to punishment or death. These and many other ideas should be ridiculed, confronted, exposed, and condemned.
